Shifter question
I just installed my new short shifter, and have a couple of quick questions.
1. on the stock shifter there is the small wire L shaped piece in the front. there was no place for it on the kirban - is this a necessary piece?
2. the instructions talked about proper adjustment - i think I have done everything correctly - it shifts into each gear, and no real issues. Can anything be messed up by improper adjustment other than not engaging the gear?
I know these are novice questions - thanks.
