Deer strike
Well I had a suicidal deer decide to stick his head into the front of my car the other night, didn't even see him. He cracked the front bumper, and destroyed the light (driver's side). The body shop did a great job with the paint blend (2001 quicksilver) but after all was said and done, I got to looking at things closely when I was polishing it back up.
Weird thing is the side that got hit...the front tire is about 1/4 inch closer to the bumper than the passenger side. My wife could not even tell the difference...but as I am kind of a geek for details I did. All the lines on the panels look perfectly lined up and even, and the alignment has been checked and it tracks well.
The only possible thing I can think of is that in replacing the bumper, it simply did not fit as well as the factory original. But other than the distance of the tire(s) it looks as good as factory. Should I even worry about it?
Thanks,
Cuz
