Default wedgee cupholder

picked this up at wal-mart(auto section) $4.59. works and looks good. Its called the wedgee cupholder. The base of it wedges between the seat and center console. The factory cupholder leaves a little to be desired.

Dude, I'll be at Walmart tomorrow to pickup one of those. Thanks for the idea.

Two questions...
1. What is the fascination with cup holders?
2. Will this benefit me as much as the performance hood seal?
Sorry, I just don't get a woody seeing cup holders in a Corvette.

Not fascination for me, just a practical solution. If I get up at 3am to go to HPDE event 5 hours away I want a damn big cup of java to go. The oem holder sucks, we all know that.

So I'm happy to find a post & a cheap solution, when I'm not using it it'll be thrown in my racing gear bag. Of course it's no technical marvel like the ones that pop out of my BMW dash, but it works & I like it!
