try a search, this has been discussed almost as much as anything else. most of us placed them inside the rear bumper cover on top of a metal ledge where the LP light is, no loss of signal. i get all three bars of signal just like i do in my other cars with XM mounted to the metal roofs. some people also placed them on dash inside windshield.
