Driver Side Window Glass Broken
I went out to drive my 2001 Corvette and the driver side window had been busted by someone.
My question is: Could someone give me an estimate for a replacement window, both installed and DIY installed (glass only).
I have done one window replacement on a Ford and it wasn't a really easy or fun job, so I would prefer to have it done, but am not adverse to doing it myself it it will save $200-300. On the Ford in question, old beater car my son was driving, replacement at a Glass Shop was $300 and I found a replacement at the junk yard for $25, and about 3 hours of labor later had it repaired and the accompanying sense of accomplishment.
Please let me know if you have any experience with either solution and approximate cost.
