well i just bought my first c5 to go next to my two c3's a 1973 red coupe and a 1975 blue coupe. has anyone heard of seat problems on the c5. i noticed on the way home every time i a came to stop my drivers side seat move just a little bit forward. thanks scott
its the dreaded rocking seat syndrome. i fixed mine in a couple of hours using washers that were grinded down to rectangular shapes to replace worn rubber bushings. there are threads on this. some harder than others. i removed my corkscrews(worm gears) instead of seperating the rails which made the repair faster.
Although I have read that this is a common problem and seen numerous posts on this, I have owned six C5's during the last 6 years and I have only noticed the problem (very slightly) on only one of them, my '98 Silver Convertible. In fact it was barely noticeable at all. Good luck withe the fix. Post some pics of your 3 Vettes.

The C5s have been known to have a rocking seat problem - there have been several posts made on how to fix them. If you can't find them, send me a PM with your e-mail address and I have some Word files on the rocking seat problem that I can send to you.
