Default What's your winter beater ????

I drive either my 95 tahoe or 91 Volvo 740T wagon while the Z sleeps the winter away.

Assuming you don't drive in sunny southern CA, what do you drive when the "nice" car is put up?

99 tahoe or 01 1500 chevy. tahoe is 4x4 with the worst heat as you know, and pickup is 2 wheel drive, so a horse a piece i suppose. lol.
i di have a cherokee til i sold it a couple months ago that could sweat you out in this weather. funny too, it was a cherokee... were they the ones who took hot rocks from the fire into the teepee to keep warm?

'00 Monte Carlo SS - which I never actually drive be cause I can't tolerate not driving my Z06. The result is that the '00 Monte Carlo as 40k miles on it... and the '02 Z06 has 87k miles on it. Ah well, I bought the Z06 to drive the feces out of it.

05 H2. But not much of a winter here in NJ this year - If they didn't put down so much f'ing salt around here, I'd drive one of the 'fun' cars.

I have a 2007 Hyundai Sonata V6. The newly redesigned 2006 and up are very nice cars with excellent build quality.

It's actually pretty peppy too with 240HP and variable valve timing (ie. flat torque curve).

H3 with 35" BFG MT's but I even do not like parking that in the malls so I sometimes take my 85 white Ford Tempo. We call it the "golf ball' because it has so many dings.
There are so many great places to off road here in AZ that I enjoy the H3 as much as the Z06.
World's fastest vehicle and the world's slowest ( unless you are off road).
Wife's car is a Subaru Legacy which handles very well due to its low center of gravity - because of the boxer engine. It would out handle my 59 Corvette for sure.
