[Z06] What's your winter beater ????
The good thing about no snow is that we don't have to take our nice cars out of service for extended periods. I drive the Z on nice days year round

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
. Just kiddin. When I was out there I rented a (cough cough) Mustang. It was a real POS but I went across the bridge into Marin county looking for Muir woods. I got a little lost and ended up going all the way around it on a road, that all I can say was the most beautifull and fun road I have ever driven on. This road was about 10 to 15 miles of twisting, rising and falling, turns with beautifull senery and very few guard rails between the road and a very very long downhill. All I could think of when I was driving on that road was " I wish I had my Z06 right now". The Rustang just gave me an anoying moaning motor sound when I gave it the gas although it did handle fairly well. I wonder if you could do me a little favor and take your Z06 out onto that road and record the ride? It would surely be an all time favorite for all on this sight. I hope you know the road that I am talking about? If not I will try to describe it better because you have to drive that road.
PS. I wish I could rent a Z06 out there for my next trip to the bay area.

My 1st manual car, besides my Camaro, was a 95 Civic just like it. It's not a bad car, gas mileage is great. I got it for $2k about 7 months ago or so in pure stock form. Except the paint which is a custom color I guess. Just put a new radiator, water pump, timing belt, and drive belts. Plus all the other mods. This car will run another 100k miles easy. Edelbrock just released a emmisions legal intercooled single turbo kit for around $3k. If I keep this car, I might descide to do it. My buddy has a turbo Si that's pretty damn fast.
But yes, it's a little ricey. But I just can't drive a stock car!!
