rough estimate, many many other factors apply...but 450+ to about 500rwhp seems to be about standard.

My car is stock with a Procharger on it. It was tuned by A&A and puts down 473 rwhp and 439 torque. Put about 10k miles on it this way and not one problem. Have it installed and tuned by someone with a lot of experience and don't get greedy with the horsepower. Treat it with respect, don't abuse it and it will last a long time.

Both of these guys are what is a good average, there are those that run a bit more aggressive, with more mods 550-600 range, but on a pretty much stock setup those are the average most see

Another vote for 450-550rwhp. Depends on the blower you get. I know a few guys running around 600 but they are on the upper end of the list with stock motors.

Suggest you post in FI section. I have a 04 C5 coupe. The car orig rated at 350hp, typically generates about 280 rwhp on a Mustang Dyno. After a centrif SC installed it went up to about 450 rwhp. I then forged the bottom end, installed a new fuel pump system and meth injection at now have 740 rwhp.

Your intended use (street vs. drag or road racing), amount of power you want & budget will determine which route you go. Your choices include centrif type superchargers(ecs, vortech, procharger), twin screw superchargers(kenne bell) and roots superchargers(Magnacharger) plus twin turbo choices(APS and others).

Good luck. Call Doug at East Coast Supercharging for some expert advise on those options. He can help you make the right choice.

More of the FI folks just hang out in the FI section, but he is spot on as my similar setup is at the same level with my A&A system and they are also a great vendor to deal with, as I have worked with both vendors on my current setup and both shops are top notch, they will work within your expections and budget and that is really a great selling point of both shops plus both setups are top notch, visit the FI section and you will get lots of responses as this topic comes up all the time

If you supercharge your car and don't make other changes to the engine respect the power and don't get too crazy. Without strengthening the motor your engine will become a time bomb if you abuse the power!!! A forged motor is best when supercharging.

Does abusing the power mean using the power? If I couldn't get on it every other day what's the point of having it? I would rather have less hp and more every-day-whenever-the-hell-I-feel-like-it power.

How much power can you have on a daily driver and it still be reliable, and who has the most hp and trq on their original, unrebuilt set-up?

The supercharge does not affect it that much. It is the new right foot that comes with the kit that really destroys the gas milage!!

Pretty good information here so far and I agree with HP estimates here too.
One thing to keep in mind is the domino effect once you start getting north of 450RWHP, you start breaking drive-train parts..Tranny, Rear End, Clutch (if manual) out-put shafts.. again a lot depends on how much you get into it, and what kind of driving style.
I almost went the FI route, but did not have the money to do the other supporting mods needed..and knew if I had the power, I would want to use it and end up breaking something. I went with Heads/Cam...and have my little 410RWHP and things are holding up fine so far

Also, go on the FI section here on the forum, you can spend weeks reading in there, and those guys are all FI junkies and have lots of experience.

Might see an increase on the highway if you are just cruising. At WOT you will be less but hey you will get there faster

You'll see a very nice jump in the hp with the supercharger.

Our Paxton kit will generally always break the 500rwhp mark on LSI six speeds, and close to it with the auto's with a "longevity tune".

LS6's are 25-50 over that.

We have had many LS1's and LS6's between 550 and 600+rwhp on a more aggressive tune and/or meth injection for safety, for people looking for an aggressive set up.

Another key thing to keep in mind is torque output, with our restrictor plate design that comes with the Paxton kit, we are getting torque numbers that are very close to the hp numbers with a flatter curve. Which is uncommon for centrifugal superchargers.

im getting 430 rwhp and this is on a stock setup !! I am changing my springs and push rods because the ls1 are weak

this is the newer version of the P1-SC ATI kit .Plus i have it set up with a safe tune and 14 degress of timing.so i am not pushing the motor as hard as i could . Better to be safe then sorry .
