Media player hook up ???
I have been searching for a hook up for my archos Gmini and haven't found anything but one hookup for the Ipod. I am getting a EB Z06 and want to use the mini in the car instead of CD's. I want to keep the stock stereo for now. The Ipod adaptor was rather pricey, but came with a couple different harness hook ups.

You need the following
CD changer cable in the trunk.
GM10-AUX box
1 RCA Y adapter to headphone jack.
The AUX box connects to the changers cable. The Y adapter connects to the other end of the AUX Box.
Then Hit the CD/aux button on the radio twice. The radio thinks the "changer" (AUX Box) is on Disc 1 Track 1 all the time. You control the MP3 player from the player itself. This works for any portable device with a headphone jack.

Then you can get into making a dock, but thats a whole new thing.

Anybody with experience on one of these? I know this is a temorary fix, but I am considering a touch screen dvd with the MP3 hook up built in letter this summer.

I use one w/ my treo cell phone/mp3 player.
It is nice at a stay inplace set up but if you are driveing its good 30% Ok 30% AND BAD 40%.
w-mart sells stuff like that to.
