Need help editing thread

Can anyone tell me how I go about changing info on the tread page. I can only seem to chg info in my individual add but not the short heading on the main page.

you can't change the title of a thread.

You can, just not when somebody has posted in it. You can also ask a mod to fix it for you.

I wonder why we can't change the titles. This is the first forum I've seen in over 15 years of Internet surfing where the originator of a thread cannot change the title. It would certainly be handy to be able to change the title, particularly in the for sale section where one could put "Sold" in the title so that other members wouldn't waste their time opening a thread on a car that has been sold.

I guess price in a thread title isn't a good idea

I may want to change the price in the title of my thread, am I to understand the only way to do this is to start another thread or get a mod- moderator?- to help.

Don't put a price in the title, put it in the first post. Then you CAN go back and change it later,as needed.

Thanks, but 1 more question, when I sell it is there any way to delete the add or do I just add a sold entry and let it move down the pages to oblivion?
