House of Kolors, thats what I had in the garage, I think Testors would work fine, House of Kolors is (was?) avaliable at Hobby Lobby in the airbrush section. The base was Rustoleum flat black. Assortment of brushes, I think I could have air brushed alot of it, but the shop was cold and the Garage was warm, compressor and gun in the shop, brushes and paint in the garage . I was pretty lucky on the liner itself, great shape and clean, 2001, with 14,000 miles, always garage and kepted with a three point detail-exterior, interior and engine compartment.
When you say "base flat back" are you putting a surface to be able to paint onto that exceeds outside of the C5 emblem? Or are you putting a base coat down that follows the C5 emblem?
Thanks

I just sprayed the area of the emblem, not the whole liner, overspray the area some, you will never see it, the material sucks up paint, I sprayed about 6 heavy coats, just to keep from sucking up the color coats.
looks great and not to "jack" but what do you guys use to clean thr liner before, i want to do this but mines completly filthy
Not a Hijack at all, it's relavent to doing the mod!
I just sprayed mine down with a garden hose and it took all the crap and staining off then I promptly installed 25 HP+ Performance Hood Seal. I used Lead free paint Paint Pens and I'm pretty sure I'm kicking near 375 HP to the wheels!

O.K. thats good info to know before attacking it with the paint. Thanks
