I don't think those wheels would go with the C5 body styling at all. They look good on my friends 1965 mustang though. They don't look too bad on later mustang/camaro... but the C5? nah
My .02, I debated for a long time about getting them, they are a great looking wheel. I think they'd provide a really nice retro but clean look. I may get them next, but opted for z's in the short term.
I've seen the "Torque Thrust II" wheels on a (blue) C5 and they looked good to me, but that's what I grew up with.
Many of the other after market wheels look to busy to me...to many angles, rivets, fake allens, over sized OD. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

I have a Nassau Blue Coupe and like yourself grew up with them also.
I like some of the new wheel but the price is nuts.
I wish I could see a picture of some on a C5. 17 in front 18 in rear.
I still will probably get them when I am ready for tires.

I'm coming from 60's mustangs (restored a 68 fastback) and I love the look of the rims on the 60s mustangs but it's a bit hard to picture on a c5...
I would like to see what they look like on TorchRed vert. I wonder if we could continue to use our TPS. Just my $.02 but I've always thought they would great on a C5, but then again I grew up with this style of wheel.
