Oil leak
I was just wodering if these ZO6's are prone to oil leaks around the oil filter. I had no leaks prior to an oil change. Now I have a small drip off the pan near the oil filter. I changed out the filter just in case, but it's not the filter leaking. Thing is, I only have 17k miles on my '03, I don't think it should be leaking motor oil. I have a GM extended warranty, but I hate having the car in the shop.

That seems to be the area of the leak. The drip appears around one of the pan bolts next to the filter, but oil residue is up higher in the casing around the filter. It could just be a loose pan bolt and the oil is getting blown up the casing, but funny thing is the filter is bone dry. I thought it might be a rear seal. Just seams unusual for a low mileage car to develop oil leaks.
Yea, it's a garage queen, only driven on weekends when the weather is nice.
