Default Need brighter headlights

I need to get brighter headlights installed ... I would prefer low + high beams as I live in a sparsely populated area with lots of deer. I say this thread with plug and play HID

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...&highlight=hid

but they said buy 2 kits for low + high beams ...

I also say this page with supposedly super white lights for much less..

What is the best choice for me (without having to spend $600) for brighter low and high beams?

Thanks,

Swifty

Without going with HID's you could go with Streetglow bulbs or even Silvania Silverstars. You would be looking to spend less than $150 for the low/high beams.

Here are a couple of threads that discuss the Toshiba bulbs. I don't have them so I can't speak to them, but it's good info. happy hunting!

The HIDs are without doubt the brightest lights but quite expensive.

A good compromise are the T84 Euro headlights. They have dual filament high and low beams in a single bulb with faceted lenses for better beam shaping. They fit easily with a plug and play harness with relays which allows you to go as high as 135/90w bulbs.

I have recently installed the HID lows that you have referenced in the link above. The light output of these bulbs are AWESOME. I had gone to the Silverstars before this and did get a little better light, they are very poor compared to this HID bulb. Do yourself a favor and buy them!!

I also recently bought HID high beams from this vendor as well, but I have not installed them yet.

with Allzwell. I have NTRBL33's HID kits on both my C5's couldn't be more satisfied with them. Just do the low beams now and see the improvement it makes.
