C5 Auto Shifter Button
Ok,, have to remove the center console, how do I get the danged 
Shifter lock out button on the auto shifter. Is it a snap in and pop out with screwdriver or is there some deep dark magic 
keeping it in. I would like to reuse it if possible.

There is a little metal clip in the fron of the **** faving the radio. Pry that out with a small screw driver and the know will come off.

Thanks for the info.. My cigarette lighter fell apart and I have to remove the console,, and radio dash panel to get to it. Until it is repaired the car can't go over 70 mph.
Can anyone figure out why it is limited to 70 MPH? At least when I am using my GPS.
