I personally haven't gone through that program, but there have been posts here of those that did. They all said it was well worth the money and they had a great time. Someday I hope to do it myself.
The NCM always treats you right so you can bet it will be a very experience.
Picked up my C5 in 98 at the NCM R8C delivery program. My buddy and I drove my C5 to Bowling Green last April, he took delivery of his C6, we had a blast driving them back. Experience should be the next best thing to getting your car delivered. You'll have a great time. NCM Tour and Plant Tour are great. Enjoy the "Experience" let us know how it works out.
I did the NCM Xperience about 3.5 years ago. It was pretty cool, but I don't think it was any different from the R8C museum delivery option. The factory tour is done by an NCM employee who knows a lot more about the plant and various stations than your typical WKU intern tour guide. Many more stops, and a lot more information. The museum tour is pretty cool too. Too bad you'll see C6's instead of C5's going down the assembly line.
I don't have any experience with the R8C museum delivery option, However I have visited the assembly plant several times and wished I could see more.
FYI, they have a buyers tour which is not included in the R8C museum delivery option, for additional $350 bucks. If I were picking up a new car, I would spring for it.
