OK, I'm not a wrench and all I need a jack for is jacking it up to pull the wheels to detail and clean up. I'll probably use it 3 or 4 times per year, so I don't need a top of the line got to have the most cool jack ever built. With that being said, I'm not sure how low much clearance I need. I have a stock Vert, with pucks. I do know I'll need a lower or shorter type.
Any suggestions?

Harbor Freight has 3" height aluminum jacks for under $90. Look on internet first. Print the ad and price seen on the computer. Take it to HF to get the same jack at the same price.
Check Sears, Pep Boys, Kragen, etc. They all offer specials now and then. You're looking for a minimum of 1500 lbs 3" jack.
If you're only going to use the pucks as lift points then pretty much any jack will do. Either jack shown in pics below will work.
Jack comparison top-down, 2/8/7 Jack comparison measuring tape, 2/8/7

Yup..Harbor Freight...thats the one I bought, and I also have the bigger one taking up space too!
I've got a Sears aluminum jack that has about a 3.5" minimum height. Works well under the car.
I really like this jack ,and have sold off all the clunky steel ones I have had over the years in favor of this one But the number one thing to invest in are jack stands ANY time you lift a car
