Default Racedeck Freeflow Tiles

Heya!

We are considering new garage flooring options, including the option of using some of the Racedeck Freeflow tiles (perhaps only where the tires track in and out of the garage). These are the "open" grid style of tiles.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

In particular, does anyone have experience with these in black and/or white?

I know that the white *solid* Racedeck can be a bit challenging to keep clean. The black/brown tire marks are tough to clean. I'm wondering if the Freeflows might help hide the marks.

Comments appreciated!

You might want to try a search in this section. I know Racedecks have been discussed here before.

Forum Vendor "Pipedreams" sells racedeck flooring. You may give him a shout. Check out this thread that he posted.

Thanks for the tips!

I've searched all the threads about Racedeck.

I'm asking about a particular type: the Freeflow style.

These are the open-grid style of Racedeck versus the solid-style (diamond plate or circle track).

Looking for feedback.

I've also called a couple of distributors and received conflicting answers, so wanted to get some real user feedback. I couldn't call Pipedreams because his website says that he has no phone. I will be trying to pm or email him.

Thanks for your responses!

I was going to install them in my shop but in doing some searching the load rating on them is pretty light, compared to the standard. For obvious reasons but I remember it was enough to make me shy away from them. But I knew I would have jacks etc. on them on a regular basis.

Thanks!

I'm thinking of only using them in 2'-wide strips where the tires roll in and out...so hopefully load won't be a problem.

Good point to consider, though...thank you!
