you must have been pulled over...so what did he say?
Ha Ha... No was not pulled over, I did have a Hampon LO behind me yesterday going into work. "Lights on" after about 3 miles of me sweating he pulled next to me and gave me the "Thumbs Up"!

...I am going to get some this Spring and I'm afraid of being harrassed here by the N.N. leos(they are very strict about the front tag thingy) ...so you are my "test case"...let us know ...btw...any irregular flashing yet?
They're perfectly legal. If you did get pulled over and ticketed, I'd bring one of the taillights to court with me, just to show the Judge the DOT inside the lens. The manufacture actually had to remove some LEDs from the original design, to become DOT compliant.

They did a hyper flash one time. I was trying to make them do it. I had the car idea for a while until it was warm enough for the engine fans to come on. I at the same time had the radio on, rear defroster, headlights on High beam. My volts dropped just below 13 volts and they Hypered for about 3 seconds. My car charges around 14 volts most of the time. So really have had no problem. When they did hyper I had everything running at a idle. It seems that 13 volts is the lucky number. Drop below that and they Hyper.
