X-pipe

How big of an effect will an x-pipe have on sound on an otherwise stock exhaust?

Smooths it out nicely. Gets rid of the motorboat burble. I bought the Bassani x.

when installing an X pipe for the first time on a exhaust you will notice a deeper sound and you should pick up a bit...justa bit of low end torque...

But since your already running a dual exhaust with a H (I believe corvettes come stock with an H installed) all you really going to get is the low end torque..

H pipes help more on the top end vs low end

But Im going to install one myself..Id rather have the torque than the top end..

Less pop pop pop on decel. less burble burble at idle. little different tone when cruising. not much difference when at wide open. power=??? i would need prove by dyno cause you cant feel it.
i noticed no difference. i dont think it would be measureable at all.
