I think you're right about color matching. The later shots of your car show all the black accents, and the headlights go right along with them.

I was wondering the same thing..

I think they look good. It would be interesting to see them color matched.

Can you hear the fans running and do they stay on only when the lights are on ? Is the fans purpose to keep them from fogging up ? And do they take special bulbs or will 9005's and 9006's fit ? BTW, They Look Great

I like the pop-ups better, but if you like them, that's all that matters.

I actually like the hump on the C5R's, it gives the look some character IMO. The C5R's are not HID's but can be converted quite easily, I will be doing my soon

The fans run only when the lights are on, and you cant really tell. They are pretty small...

These run a sealed beam, but a forum vendor here sells an HID conversion for them... hmmmmm haha

I LOVE them. Washed the car today and no leaks, no problems. I cant wait for night time!

You can do what I did and order a sealed beam conversion which allows you to use 9005s' and 9006's. I got some PIAA super white bulbs to put in them.

I tinted my lens but the tint is way to dark so it reduced the brightness too much so I am going to put some lighter tint.

yeah, i was thinking about ordering another set as back ups. what did you tint them with? i was thinking about 'tinting' or painting like half way up and the edges a little.

Its a protective film made just for headlights. The company just came out with a new film with a lighter tint which would be perfect especially with the black housings.

Did you put it on the inside or outside of the clear lense? Thanks for the link!
