Dont see them to often, but when I do I LIKE um. Went for a short drive to adjust the light pattern, and they are very nice.

Anyway - thought I would share.

WOW..they def. look great from that distance. Any chance of getting some shots posted REALLY up close? Specifically, where the edge of the light housing meets the hood and fender. What's your opinion of the actual light output vs. stock.

They look GREAT!! Now all you need is the Breathless Performance hood to go with them. Here is a link to their website page with the hood. Rob

How's the fitment of the lights and why do people who say "buy this type of hood" always show the hood with it up? How are we supposed to get an idea of how it looks if it's up. Do they dive with their hood up?? Sorry to get off topic.

I would rate the fit an 8/10. The pass side fit pretty good, but the driver side took a lot of work to get it to 'fit'. If you are **** about your cars fitment, these may not be for you. Without the clear top cover, they fit 'ok', but when you add that it makes them uniform...if that makes any sense.

Here is a close up pic:

To answer the other quesion about light output, it seems much improved. NOT HIDs, but better than my Silverstars I took out of the stock housing.

I really like them, time to wash the car and check for leaks...

Those actually look pretty damn good!! nice job. Only thing I dont like about those particular lights is the fact that IMO they are more or less just a cosmetic upgrade as those are the same sealed beam headlamps as used stock on 93-97 Camaros. I used to own a 97 Z28 and the headlight output is marginal at best.

Looks great though !!

I agree, but it really does seem to through a bit more light. You can also get the high beam version and mod the connector for even more light output...

I think I'd do the HID hi/lo conversion for $900, and keep the popups.

Can you open them up to paint the inside to match the color of your car?

The only proble I have with the CR5's is that little hump they have.

The CR5's are HID right?

I will take some pictures today if I can get her washed.

Yes, you can open them up and paint match the car, but I was looking for the black look. If I ever switch my theme (chrome wheels, etc) I may paint them body color. For now, I think the theme works well... I am in LOVE!
