Don't you worry either one of you. I am 52 and right with you. Everyday is a good day, but especially the best when we are in our Vettes....

Done! You are soooo cool!

But just wondering if you saw the other night I posted here a picture of ME....on the hood of my car, along with my immediate family riding along?

A quick extreme makeover and you'll be fine. as far as your family is concerned, you can pick your friends but not your reatives.

I hate driving in dress shoes, so I keep a pair of driving mocs in the car. My C5 is a breeze compared to the C4. I will suffer through a hurtin' foot/let in heavy traffic any day, the car is worth it.

Have you recently changed the position of your seat? I made that mistake in my Trans Am, my boyfriend used to move the seat all the way back and lift the front edge of the seat up all the way to really make it a bucket seat. And if I didnt move the front edge down and far enough forward my foot and ankle would kill! I finnaly figured it out after I could barely walk on it after 3 days.
Just find the right position to out your seat in. Hope that helps.

Default Be Grateful

Just be glad you can have a Vette with a clutch. I'm not looking for pity, or whinning, but due to a below the knee amputation on my left leg, I can not drive anything other than an automatic. Yea, I know, it takes a little of the fun out of owning a sports car, but what the hell, at least I own one!

No pity here but just a comment... You are a good example of a real driving enthusiast with a true love for the car!
