Coming home from a cruise night I'm on a freeway and traffic is moving at 55mph. Speed limit is 60 and mosy usually do 65 - 70. After a few miles a few cars pull over and I zoom on by at 60 mph. I come out of a tunnel and the speed limit drops to 45. I'm going downhill so I coast. Damn if I don't get pulled over for doing 60 in a 45.
I'm not into playing games tonight. Cop was cool and friendly and I admit to doing 60. He points out there were 4 speed limit signs that I ignored. YUP! says I. Why he asks. Because I didn't see you sez I. He laughs; tells me to slow down. Thanks and good evening Officer Yuen.
Twice in a few weeks. I'm blessed.

Honesty is the key with cops.Or is it the fact that cops don't like giving Vette owners tickets.
I own a 99 Civic Si as well as a C5 and I've only gotten pulled over and given tickets in the Civic.
I remember when I was driving my Vette, doing about 70 in a 50 last summer. Got pulled over, cop walked up to my car, smiled at me and said "Slow down buddy". I was like
. I thought I was done for.
