Busted - Again!
Coming home from a cruise night I'm on a freeway and traffic is moving at 55mph. Speed limit is 60 and mosy usually do 65 - 70. After a few miles a few cars pull over and I zoom on by at 60 mph. I come out of a tunnel and the speed limit drops to 45. I'm going downhill so I coast. Damn if I don't get pulled over for doing 60 in a 45.
I'm not into playing games tonight. Cop was cool and friendly and I admit to doing 60. He points out there were 4 speed limit signs that I ignored. YUP! says I. Why he asks. Because I didn't see you sez I. He laughs; tells me to slow down. Thanks and good evening Officer Yuen.
Twice in a few weeks. I'm blessed.

I was ticket-free from 1969 to 1999, then I got one ticket every October (?) on the same freeway (?) from 2000 to 2003. (One one my Harley, one in my Silverado and two in my PT Cruiser.) Paid one (Harley - 97 in a 60) got out of the other three. Now, three years later, two warnings in three weeks..... BLESSED/LUCKY??? I dunno!
BTW: cops use instant-on LASER here. My laser detector is of no use. Anyway, I "normally" drive 5 over the speed limit.
