Many previous threads on this. As per your owners manual... car must be in reverse when shutting down. If the car is in reverse when you shut it down, then you must have the clutch pushed in. If you follow this procedure you will not get the rattle. Reverse is the best gear to have the car in to keep it from rolling when you are not in the car.

As I said before no car sold today will start without your foot on the brake. If that video was real you would see the car lurch forward while he was turning the key not after the car actualy started.

You mean on the clutch..which makes the sernario possiable..its in gear..foot on clutch..kid releases the clutch....lurch..lurch..bang!

to reiterate, push the clutch in at shut down, should do the trick

i have always thought this as well. i just don't see how it's possible for the car to not only stay running but build up enough speed to crash through a garage wall. if you leave the car in gear and let the clutch out, it will lurch and die not take off and crash through a wall.
