I run Reybestos ceramic on my 2001 C5 and on the wife Solara. I don't race the C5, but like to push it in the mountains. Quiet and very low dust on both cars, very pleased.

Much less brake dust and cheaper than the stock pads from GM.

I installed Delco ceramics, but I never found out if these are the same as the original equipment? They've only been on a couple days, so can't tell too much about stopping power etc.

Absolutely. She's a WORKHORSE, and the best Class A mechanic in 3 states! Ridden hard and put up wet!

Another vote for the ceramics. Very very little dust and still good stopping power.

Street setup:
New rotors from NAPA ~$100 (all four)
Ceramic pads ~$100
Bed them, run them on the street for awhile, put on Hawks. re-bed, take to the track, tear up the rotors, then repeat...
Bad...
Good...
Like new again for another $100...
