I don't park too far away for this reason. Back in 98 I bought a laser Red Mustang. Always parked at the other end of any parking lot. My wife drove it to the grocery store and did the same, far away. Some a**bag saw her and went out of his way and walked 75 yards and keyed the hood down to bare metal.
Another time at a mall, parked far away from anyone. Came out and had a van parked about 8-10 inches from my door. I literally had to crawl in the passenger door to get in. Nobody else within a 100 yards of our vehicles. Needless to say this a**hole had some paint damage when they came out. People that go far out of their way to be a-holes need a good..................

Yes it does but I am not affraid to drive it and park it whereverI go.
I will usually park it next to a car that looks to be taken care of as opposed to a beater!
You have insurance so take it and don't worry be HAPPY!
