Sounds like it is a double sided tape install for a small piece of painted fiberglass. For it really to work, it needs to be a whole new deck lid. For a unpainted version with the two glass pieces, I would be willing to paid $1200 to $1400.
Might not be able to see it on mine if I were ever to do it, a blacked out back window with black paint or it might just be subtle enough not really to notice it. You never know!
I don't think i would use either kit on mine, but I think the first one would look better if they rounded the corners. I don't think the sharp corners just don't go with the rest of the curves on the car
