I like all kinds of performance/sports cars. Any day around people who are passionate about cars is a good day for me, whether it's Mustangs, Vipers, old muscle cars, etc.

While I would never own a Mustang - it is a very popular car for good reason - and has been for 43 years. They look cool and most of all they are affordable.
Mustangs have a similar high perfomance racing heritage like the Corvette and whether anyone cares to admit it - there are some Mustangs out there that will suck the doors off of a stock C5.
So I see nothing wrong with one performance car enthusiast acknowledging another - whether their car wears the blue oval or the bow tie.

Most of us Vette owners are true sports car/muscle car/performance car enthusiasts. We just happen to prefer owning and driving a Corvette more than any other brand. I've had several good experiences with other "car guys" in the short time I've owned my C5. I personally enjoy chew'n the fat about cars with other enthusiasts no matter what they drive.
