To tell you the truth I love the lowered look but here in Jersey there are so many bumps, hills, inclines etc I cant do it without ripping my front end off.....I will just keep her creek jumping high!
from a guy that once had a 69 ss chevelle that you could stick your head between the front tire and wheel well, to a corvette z06 that is lowered as much as the stock bolts will allow, i like the lowered look. lowering the center of gravity will restrict the body roll which will enable the vehicle to make a turn quicker.
From: 90% of all Fords are still on the road.....the other 10% actually made it home!
IMO it has to be lowered! At least as far as the stock bolts will drop it. I'll be going a little lower with mine,........either coilovers or some longer bolts and Bilsteins.

I love the low flyers, not tire tuck low, but close. Max drop with the stock leafs(cut bushing/longer bolts) was not enough for me, I picked up a coilover conversion for this year.
First, I prefer it low. I also live in NJ and if you pay attention to where you're driving, being low is not a problem. I haven't had any problems with hitting things and I drive my car all over. Even at stock height the spoiler is going to scrape, so you just get used to it scraping more. I installed the A&A frame savers and the front guard wheels for insurance. Okay, secondly, in the video that came with my Z06, they tell you for spirited performance driving to lower it. I had to follow the general's directions.
I'm installing Z-51 springs today, I wish to retain stock ride height. (I live on a dirt road, with two black cars I wash alot) Does anyone know how much the measurement is on the top side of the bolts for stock Z-51 ride height? I want to get it pretty close before I have it re-aligned.
