GMPP Insurance Question
I've developed the rocking seat problem (2000 w/ 59K miles) It's not real bad, but if you shift your weight fore and aft it "pops". Sometimes when entering the car the seat creaks, and pops side to side. My GMPP (with $50.00 deduct.) is expiring in June so I'm kind of waiting to see if I have any other problems to address. The deductable is $50.00 for 1 or more problems. I guess I'm hoping the oil sender, headlight motors, power windows etc. develope problems. My question (Ca.) is when (and if) they replace the seat tracks should the dealer return the def. part to me? Or, does the insurance co. own it. I'd repair it just incase the pass. side goes out. I've already asked them to order the part and let me install it (no dice).
