First ever test drive in a C5 today!
Well, as some of you know on here, I've been in search of a C5 for awhile now. Just burnt out on my mustang. Well, I have never sat in, nor drove a C5 until today. A local Chevy dearler where I live got a 03 Electron Blue Convertible in a few days ago. I knew I didnt want a convertible, but... wanted to go for a spin, just so I could see what the 6 speed was, and see how I would like HUD. I must say, its an experience I will never forget. For the first time ever getting behind the wheel of a C5, i'd definitely hooked. Everything about it was amazing. I showed up at the dealer, and of course they were on me like a pack of dogs on a 3 legged cat. I was flat out honest with them, told them I did not want a convertible, but.. just wanted to see what one was like. The salesman said, well.. we really arnt busy, I'll grab the keys and we'll go for a spin! I didnt think twice. It was a exciting experience that I'll never forget, and just wanted to share with you guys!!

You will definately love a C5 over any 'Stang. I have owned a couple of Mustangs and have driven many others. I have had my EB '02 for a while now and never get tired of it!!

Yes, I was the same way. I test drove a '98 C5 vert, but was going to buy a low mileage '02 Stage 1 Roush Mustang. After driving the C5, it was very clear which one was the better car. Now I am the proud owner of a '98 Pace Car.

Well, I'll forsure be going with a coupe. I think Verts look great, but.... just not fond of them. But... the experience was unreal. I can't wait until I find the right one that fits my needs
