12 Disk CD Changer Wiring?

Does anybody know if a 1998 C5 is pre-wired for a 12 disk remote CD player? If yes, where are the wires located?

If your C5 didn't come from the factory with the 12-disk cd changer as an option, then no it didn't come pre-wired for the changer either.

But you can buy the wiring from P.I.E. It connects in the footwell, then run it to the back. Most of us are disconnecting the CD changer and connecting MP3 players in its place. Search the Forum for ipod or MP3 installs.

GM doesn't sell the harness by itself. Another poor GM design! (Like the computer right under the acid-leaking battery.)
