It has been a long winter and I just couldn't wait any more so this morning I got the vette out and took it for a ride, WOW do I miss driving it, it performed well and put a big smile back on my face. So I thought it was only fair that I spent the rest of the day putting a fresh coat of wax on it. My son-in-law gave me some Maguires wax so thougt I would try it, wish I had used it before it really did a nice job. I can't wait until all the snow is gone and I can start driving it more, maybe next time with the top down. I envy you guys and gals that can drive them year round. Have a nice day.
Mines still sleeping. I need tires before I can even think of driving it. My left front has 16oz of slime tire repair in it and over 55mph the front will shake apart. I hope to be back on the road by mid April.
mines still in storage...went over and started it up last week...sure sounds nice..can't hardly wait for the snow to melt and get a good rain to wash the salt off the roads..
I dont know what I would do if I couldnt drive my Vette for the winter. I have a hard time not driving it for a day. I had a great drive today also it was a perfect 85 degrees out, had the top down and was listening to some led zeppelin and the awesome sound of the borlas, I love this car!
I think I've finally got it figured out. You people that can't drive your Vette year round gotta do something... so you MOD! Us folks here in CA drive 'em everyday. We don't have time to Mod. All joking aside, I truly feel sorry for those of you who can't (or won't) drive your car in ugly weather. I know how much I enjoy mine, and a day without "baby" just isn't right. Hope you all are on the road real soon.
