I just used a new low profile aluminium race jack i got from Harbor Freight. Worked excellently for the oil change and CAGS install today. Got for 79 bucks.

I got a great heavy duty one from SAM's club..it's a Roush racing brand. Very heavy and well put-together. Wide stance and large lifting platform. Has a warranty. 7000 pound capacity. Under $100...I think like $85???

Low profile (3.3 inches) Heavy Duty (6 ton commercial) floor jack named "Black Jack" at SOME WallMart stores for $69. Very good construction.

After going through 3 Craftsmen Jacks, I finally purchased an AC Hydraulics DK 13HLQ last year. By far the best jack I have ever owned, and probably the last one I'll need to buy.

I paid way more for my Harbor Freight racing jack. I used my HF (US General) jack to do an oil + filter and coolant change on my C5 today. One wheel fell off the jack twice today, sending ball bearings all over my garage floor. Anyone want to trade jacks?

What ?! Explain, how did it fall off jack. Where did the ball bearings come from?
