I don't drag race - so I'm not the guy to answer that one. Either the 555R or the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial seem to be the preferred rubber for that activity. Perhaps one of the many straight line guys will chip in here for you. Or you might check with Ranger in a PM.
Hell, why not recommend a Hoosier road racing slick. I wouldn't recommend anyone drive around the street on those tires, unless they just like buying tires every couple of months. A tire with a wear rating of 140 should not be compared to legitimate street tires such as the Supercar, PS2, etc, which are designed for maximum grip with decent mileage and have nearly twice the UTQG rating. Hoosier A6, Toyo RA1, etc, all have a "DOT" stamp on them. That doesn't mean it's a good idea to head down the highway with them every day.
This is another area that people start jumping on tire performance and don't bother to take into account. A 140 treadwear rated tire compared to a 220 or 320. Each vendor defines treadwear compared to their own line. So while not consistent between brands it is something to work with. I always find it humerous when someone running a Nitto R2 at 100 treadwear saying how they outperform a Supercar. That is an apple and orange comparison. Supercar is a 220 street tire. R2 is a 100 DOT race tire. The Supercar holds up quite well against it on a road course. That's not too shabby. The new Falken Azenis RT-615 is an improvement over the RT-215 it replaced. But it is rated at 140 treadwear. About as low as you can go and still be considered a street tire.
I have FS WO for the street since they are workable for DD purposes. Supercars and Nitto R2 for the track. The Nitto R2 is quicker. But will not last as long on track. I now have CCWs with Hoosier R6 on them. There is no way in he11 I would run a Hoosier R6 on the street. That is just flat out dangerous and pointless.
I still agree with Twilight that if you want a tire that you can daily drive. Then drive to the track and put in some good lap times on the weekend. Then drive it to work on Monday morning. The Supercar is darned hard to beat.
I ran the FS WO last weekend at Roebling just for fun for a couple of sessions. You can't even tell they were on the track. The wear is great. The handling is "ok". I went to some Supercars then Nitto R2s that are all quite used up. FS WO that still have about 6/32nds tread versus a Supercar that has 2/32nds and they are mounted inside out since the real outer edges are almost gone. Handling difference is immediately noticed. Then the R2 it gets better and they last a full session without getting greasy. For what it costs me to go to the track I'll only use the FS WO for rain sessions. Supercars for most sessions and r-comps for a few sessions to put in some good lap times.
For a purely DD car there is nothing wrong with the FS WO and they will last you a long time. If you want 1 set of tires to do street/track and not deal with changing wheels etc then the Supercar is very hard to beat.
