Default Need some advice

New member here i am looking at an 01 Z06 my previous vette was a 92 so I am out of my element.
I am looking at a higher mileage one 99k and was wondering what sort of questions I should be asking. Were the Z06 ,s more troublesome than the regular coupe?
Is there any major issues that you would say stay away from a higher mileage one any input would help
Thanks

considering this same question gets asked almost once a week, it really was good advice. no waiting for responses. it's already there.

thats cool i know what you mean. there are vast amounts of info on this site so i hope you don't have plans! for what it's worth i'd see if and when the clutch had been changed, how new are the tires and what kind are they, what type of pads the originals were replaced with(if you are looking to track the car this is important). does it burn oil and how much.

the Z's are no worse for having problems then the regular C5. there are many forum members with cars that have well over 100k and some with 200k and they are still running strong. these are tough cars and when taken care of well they will last a very long time

if the car you are looking at has been well taken care of and it is in your price range then i would go for it. that's really not "high" miles on these cars.

hope that helps
