Yea got flipped off today, not sure why. I was enjoying a nice cruise around town, Loven the sound of my G5X4, minding my own business when a couple of young teens flipped me off. I didnt know them so I know they werent playin. Well I waved anyway. As I was driven I was thinking, should I go and say something, just face punch them, or just let it go. Well I decided to let it go. They wouldnt even look at me when they had turned around. Not sure why kids now days do this kinda stuff. Im only 28 and have a 1 and a half year old son and one on the way. And I guaranty my boys will never flip someone off and act stupid like that. I mean what if I was a crazy person and went and whooped ther butts. But o'well thanks for letting me vent ya'll. Thats one reason why I Love this forum!
that's definitely a smart move. next time just give them a bigger smile and a bigger wave. usually just gets them steamed even more. no kid on this earth could ruin my day in my vette.

You did the right thing....But, your statement above may come back and haunt you one day. Believe me, most parents have no idea what their kids will or have done, no matter how well they are raised, teenagers can and will suprise you....Good luck with yours over the next 18 years...

Sounds crazy but they prob were doing it because they thought your car was cool!!!!!!......I own a motorcycle dealership so I see it a lot.....kind of compared to our generation's "thumbs up".......
I had the same thing happen to me last weekend.. Had a Honda Civic pull a long side of me.. Kid flipped me off, and I heard him yell, "Are you to scared to run that piece of Sh*t" Hair stood up on my neck, I bit my lip and gave them a nice Corvette wave and drove on....
My DAD used to say " KILL THEM WITH KINDNESS" .A BIG SMILE will get them every time.Nowadays in most cases if you send them the BIRD back they want to run you down or start shooting because it's no funny to them anymore.
Yea I agree about the crazy stuff, but I never flipped anyone off. It just seemed odd. Thats never happened before unless I did something.
I know my sons will do crazy stuff but I will teach them like my dad did is to have respect for people and kill them with kindness. Damn I guess I did listen to ole Dad.
Don't worry, people who act like that usually either grow up and realize what morons they'd been, or else "what goes around comes around" and they get their due. Either way, don't let it bother you. You did the right thing.

They were just telling you that they thought Corvettes are number 1! Pay no attention to the little trolls - and remember that the best part of them ran down their father's leg....whoever he is.
