I enjoy the wave especially if the other driver is an old dude like me with grey/white hair, top down and both of us knowing how good it is...Le Bon Temps Roule

I confess it's happned to me too.Others things like when a vette goes by and i'm in my other car i feel like i want to wave because i have a vette to but i am not driving it today but then i think maybe this person might think i'm a nut waving to him and i'm not in a vette.

I try and wave at all vettes also but a ***** in silver C6 didn't return the wave on the way home from work today. Other than that every wave I have offered has been returned. Oh, and there was a red StingRay right behind me when the C6 passed us both.

I give them a when I'm not in mine. You know they like that too.

I can't tell you how many times I have been in my other vehicle and caught myself waving at another Vette. I'm sure they think i'm off my rocker.
My wife always points other Vettes she sees in the vicinity. I think she really gets a big kick out of the camaraderie. As a matter of fact, so do I!
I wave every chance I get in my C5. When I'm not in it, I still give them a big thumbs up.
If I miss a wave, I feel bad about it for the rest of the day.
Was in my dad's 96 Convertible with the top off last weekend and waved to, two different C5's on the freeway going the opposite direction. Yes the wave is alive in San Diego!
I was driving around yesterday with the top down and the radio was loud. As I was adjusting my stereo a black C5 drove past me and I caught the wave from him just as it became too late to wave back. I have had this guilty feeling ever since, the only thing worse than not getting a wave is missing your opportunity to wave back.
If you own a black C5 and were near 435 and Antioch (in Overland Park) and you waived to an idiot in a Quicksilver vert....
beter late than never, right?
Was this around 10:00am on Wed? I went to OP on Tuesday to have dinner with my Dad for my birthday. I stayed the night and drove back to Columbia on Wednesday morning (it wasn't a late start, I had to wash her first ). As I got on 435 Eastbound off of Metcalf, I saw a black C5 ahead of me. Traffic was heavy and I followed him off on to N 470 when I finally got a chance to pass. He must have been snoozing, because I had to give him a little horn beep, so he'd look over and see my wave. He waved back and with the thinning traffic I then proceeded to push my luck for the remaining 100 miles home.

No, it was more towards the evening rush hour. I was on my way to buy "make car pretty" stuff, after work.
