I am NOW 63....and I am NOT about to wear a Damn
Hat backward and feel STUPID.....

Anyway at 63 I am not afraid to admit that I am Bald on top...what I am concerned with is a sunburned HEAD...not comfortable....believe me..

I own 3 Corvette Convertibles...(64 72 & 98) and use a couple of strategies on at least not loosing a hat...
I tie a string (eyeglass strap) to the back of the hat and secure the other end of the strap to the Handbrake lever on the 64 & 72....use the shoulder belt to secure the hat when driving the 98..

Still loose the hat BUT I just reel it back in...

I also found that a common sweatband worn normally
will HOLD a hat on pretty darn well.... especially if I drive under 70 MPH...(not easy..lol)

Your in luck. With no hair you can super glue it to your head and use finger polish remover to get it off Works like a charm

I resent that. I also have a PT Cruiser (for the slow days....)

Wear a "snot rag" instead

I have a black and white zebra one and my husband has the american flag--fits over your head and ties in the back (like a bandana---I forget what they are really called) I put my hair in pig tails and braid them and I am ready to roll---no flyin off my head

Well.... I'm 62. I wanted a vette since I first saw one back in '53...
When I finally put my foot down and bought my 00 vert, my wife said she had lost lots of her hair and just couldn't bear to ride in THAT thing with the top down........
Hell, her hair would blow around!
I said.... OK.... and she hasn't ridden with me since................
So now I ride with Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck... Duke and the Count...
Havn't been happier!

If you don't want to wear it backwards .... wear a toque... I saw a dude wearing one of those yesterday(top down in a nice lowered vette) .... looked pretty gangsta, I may have to get me one of them

if you wear a hat, keep you head against the seat at all times, and the force should hold the hat in place

4 years without losing a hat. The worst part is when passing an 18 wheeler or bus. Those things create all kinds of turbulence. Just don't look up at speed!

I don't have the problem - my hat stays put at freeway speeds and even a little more...as long as you don't let the visor catch the wind.

Please excuse my 63 year old wasp guy ignorance. Toque?

Thought my ride has 375 ft/lbs, but don't know how to wear it.

Or else it was something we did Saturday nights in graduate school
