I was going to say "my DIC" but decided against it. Wouldn't that get it moved to PR&C?

Sounds like a dodgy explanation
Ask them which module they replaced in case it doesn't fix it. There are 3 main elements that could be bad. If they think speed is an issue I'd be asking more questions!
They'll probably replace the EBCM.

I had this message recently, followed by "service abs". They went away after a day. Then the serpentine belt started squeaking. Then the "service engine soon" light came on. Then the serpentine belt let loose. Now I have a new tensioner and belt.I assume this fixed the problem but it's too early to tell.
