Interior Facelift (pics inside)
- Elite Engineering's "Heel Toe" Gas pedal and dead pedal.
- CCA's Rocker Panel Protection (not pictured)
- C5 Kidd's beautiful paint job on my interior parts (full package).
- Redline Good's Interior leathers (full package)
- Paint Pen mod on my instrument cluster bezels.
- Paint Pen Mod on the CORVETTE stitch on the seat backs.
-Shaved the "CORVETTE letters on the subthump box for better definition.
- Rattle canned my speaker grills fore and aft.
I'm VERY happy with the quality of all the additions. Here's some pics:
Taken at dusk, sorry for the blur...
EE's awesome Gas and Dead pedal:
Painted Door bezel and speaker grill with Redline Goods Door Pull leather in two tone (ebony/light gray):
Aft speaker grills (rattle canned them with some Duplicolor medium silver)
Shot of the radio surround that C5 Kidd painted...just look at the glossy shine
It's gorgeous in person Shot of the Redlinegoods center console cover...really nice quality but I had to use some velcro to get it perfectly smooth and "factory" looking. This is their "ebony" with light gray stitch.
Another shot of the Redlinegoods product, both boots and the console are just ebony with light gray stitch...I figured if I went with two-tone boots they might get lost against the painted parts.
Good pic of the shift boot on the C6 short throw shifter...perfect fit and very nice quality. You really don't notice the difference in color between the **** and the boot in person, I had to use the camera's flash for these pics because it was getting dark outside. I'm thinking of sending the shift **** to Vette Essentials so they can re-stitch it with the gray thread.
Paint Pen on the CORVETTE lettering on the seat back...you need a steady hand and some patience but it's well worth it. Let it dry for a few hours and it won't bleed onto your shirt.
Another shot of the seat backs....notice how nicely they stand out...cheap and easy mod.
Shaved the letters on the subthump box...5 minutes with a beard trimmer...looks 100% better then before.
Paintpen mod for the Instrument Cluster...very steady hand required unless you seperate the guage backing from the forward molded bezels. Looks REALLY good in person, I only did it because I had the interior parts at C5 Kidd's getting paint so since I wasn't driving the car I had the time to do it. Very glad I did this mod!
All for now...
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

www.c5kidd.com did the paint on everything but the speaker grills (I used spray paint for those). I've only had the painted parts installed for about a week so I can't speak to the durability but I can tell you that it will scratch and chip just like any other painted surface. He uses real exterior auto paint and it has a nice clear coat but you have to be mindful of knicking it just as you would your exterior paint job. As far as the paint sticking to the plastic...as long as you give them a good sanding and use some primer the paint sticks with no problems. I really could not be happier with the results.
