Having a problem that has been previously discussed in other threads. My passenger side window and locks do not work. The passenger lock/unlock button will control the driver's door, but the driver's control will not work the passenger side. I removed the passenger side door control module and swapped it with the driver's side. When I did that....the passenger door still did not work, however the driver's side windows and lock functioned correctly when the passenger side door control module was installed on the driver's side.
Have had this problem in the past and it seems to resolve after a few days or when hitting a speed bump. I have banged on everything and have had no luck fixing it this time!! Appears to be a wiring problem but I am stumped from there. It is throwing a code B2285 H.
I have read previous posts, but I do not have scan tool. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
you have a pinched wire or loose wire in the conection between your car body and the door. My car is currently disabled due to this problem finally growing worse and worse over the last few years. I'm going to have to pull it apart to figure out exactly which wire is loose, but won't be able to do that till after tax season.
Try this........open the door, hold down the switch and move the door jam wire bundle back and forth slowly.........
I have this problem in mine right now and it is the power wire (orange i believe) that goes in to the DCM
Is that code for Low Voltage Batts 1 and 2?
Do that and if it works when you wiggle the wire bundle, slide the boot back and disconnect the connectors and look at the ends. I'm betting it's corroded in the plugs. It's happened to a lot of people on here.

IT WORKED!! Jiggled the wires as the travel through the door seal rubber boot. Got the windows to work. So, I pulled apart all the connectors and reattached them. Seems to work fine now even if I really shake the connectors. At least I know where to look if it happens again. Saved some cash by not taking it to the "stealership."
