Today after driving for awhile and pulling into my garage I noticed a few drops of coolant in a line, so I looked under my car and saw a puddle about the size of a tennis ball, I started to worry. I popped the hood to see if I could see anything and nothing, no dripping, no wetness, no nothing. I started to think that maybe when the system is pressurized, so I started the car back up, checked everything and no squirting, no dripping, no nothing, I think to myself "hey what gives" Do anyone have any idea's what could cause this.
I don't know if vettes are any different but i have seen many GM waterpumps leak while runnung & quit when stopped. It is the seal around the pully shaft that leaks only while running & under pressure. Just a thought.

I would also check the lines under the throttle body. Mine had a clamp loose and it would do the same
I thought of the water pump also, I changed it out less than a year ago, plus wouldn't it start to leak once I started my car back up, when I started the car I didn't see anything.?????

Nope, usually takes some warm up and pressure to leak.
I think I know what the little drips were, the water pump is not leaking, I just recently changed my radiator hose and the tank was overfilled, when I stopped the car i heard a sound that sounded like sizzling, I put my ear to the hose that goes into the tank, that's where it was coming from, I also saw wetness right below that hose and down the side (horizontal) of the tank to the lowest point, from there it dripped onto the frame and to the ground. I really believe this is the problem because the tank is filled to the top once i suck out some of the fluid that should take care of the problem. discuss......
