The other night I thought I was loosing my mind, all of a sudd3en I had no turn signals. None. Then I parked and came back and they were working fine. Then last night I would turn and use the signal it would flash once then stop. Any Clues? Thanks in advance!
I would suspect that your emergency flasher switch may be the cause - next time it happens try pressing the emergency flasher switch a few times and see if the turn signals work again.
Common issue with the C5. You will need to replace your hazard switch as it controls the signals. The switch is only about $38 and the directions to do the job are available on the forum.

I have the same problem and the dealer said it was the emergency flasher switch. I haven't changed it out yet though. Anytime it quits working, I just reach up and press the switch on for a few seconds...and then off....after that it works again. They (The dealer) gave me the advice for free...do you believe it?

Keep in mind that the emergency flasher switch also takes out your brakes lights , only the small 3rd light will continue to work. I would get a new switch fast..its to dangerous to drive without brake lights and turn signals.
I agree that the flasher switch is most likely your problem, but according to the service manual, the brake lights go directly from the brake switch, through the fuse panel and to the rear module and lights. They do not go through the flasher like the turn signals do. Cycle your flasher switch a few times as mentioned and your signals will probably be ok. It's kind of like the passenger window sticking if you don't use it occasionally. How often do you use your flashers? The contacts oxidize and don't make good contact until you physically move them.
