I just got my 01 millenium yellow coupe last Friday and have an appointment to get tint next Thursday. I'm going with 20% all the way around. I can't stand driving with untinted windows
ok, how do you undo tint that is too dark? does a pro have to remove it?
no but it is not easy , just pull it off and then take a razor blade and soapy solution and srape off the glue . or pay someone around $100.00 to do it for you
I got my windows done last week and love it...BUT it doesn't seem to be sticking well to the rear windshield on the very top where those black dots are. How is everyone else's experience? Do I need to go back and see if they can fix it or is this common?
yes the dots suck , they need to take some fine sand paper to them first or not tint clear up go to like the 3rd row of dot matrix.

Mine is like that too...they can fix it but they usually want to paint it all black there to make it smooth so no air is trapped...I said no to the paint and just deal with it...so I can go back to stock if I want.

My father's K2500 Silverado Duramax has window tint beyond the legal limit. The guy who inspected it at the dealership said it WILL pass inspection with the tinting...BUT it is up to the LEO's discretion if they want to pull you and ticket you or not.
