There is a 2002 Coupe listed for sale, on the Canadian Auto Trader site, by a dealer. It apparently has "RAM option of about 400 HP !!!! This is a factory option only available in the U.S."
I've done a fair bit of research and never heard of this. Before I contact the dealer, is this real or is it BS.
I talked to the dealer and he said that he had never heard of this option either. The car came into Canada from the US a year or 2 ago and the person that brought it in told him about the option. He did tell me that it has large exhaust tips on it and the exhaust is fairly loud. Personally, I think that a previous owner has done some mods and tried to pass them off as factory. By the way, from the picture it's a coupe, not a Z06.
I may go by and see it, since I am in the market for a C5 of around that vintage, but cars that have unknown mods done to them worry me.
Don't you guys know? Haven't you figured it out yet?? It's obviously got the Canadian Export version of the hood seal, and due to the lighter air in Canada the hood seal option brings it up to 400 horse! I'm surprised no one figured this out
I saw an ad in the paper [at a dealership] for an O2Vette with "hands" up display.I just had to call them, the salesman did not have a clue.I thought maybe since it was a dealership they wanted to warn you to put your hands up cause you were about to be robbed.
