Default GM10-AUX install question

Hi, I posted this in the Audio section:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1657280

Basically, I'm installing the HK Drive+Play system and I cannot figure out where the hell the GM10-AUX harness plugs in. I urgently need some help here. If someone could shed some light on it, I would really appreciate it.

Please no flames, I'm a pretty smart guy (well, that may be pushing it) I'm just obviously missing something here.

Thanks!

it plugs in to the rear CD Changer harness, at the location where the optional CD changer is normally located.

Man, how did I miss that? So the idea is to have a long RCA connection going to your footwell? That sucks and I am retarded.

Thanks Mike!

Sweet! Thanks for the help guys, I would have been looking for than damned connector all weekend. A quick fish of the RCA cables to the trunk, some creative cabling up front and viola!

A big thanks to those of you who already installed the HK unit, I definitely ripped...er...borrowed from you guys. Thanks again, this site is the best.

Any reason you can't take the harness up front in the pass footwell, cut it there and in the back and splice the two ends together, so the end that plugs into the GM10-AUX would be up front and could be routed under the console.

That will work, and I remember somehere on CF doing that.

I mounted a hard drive based MP3 player in the rear storage compartment, so I needed to make the AUX-10 connection there anyways.
